Our 2021 New Mexico pronghorn hunting has been an absolute blast! First and most importantly, we’d like to extend a big thanks to the wonderful hunters who joined us this year. It has been a pleasure hunting with each one of you. We hope to see you back here in New Mexico soon on another hunt! The best part of our job is the wonderful people we get to meet. That was once again true during this year’s antelope hunting season.
The 2021 season began with a bow hunt and concluded with several rifle hunters. It was a memorable August, with typically warm New Mexico pronghorn hunting weather. Thanks to good range conditions, our pronghorn herds are in excellent health. As always though, antelope hunting takes a great deal of patience and persistence. Thanks to our hard working hunters and guides, we were able to take some great bucks.
Here’s a look at some of the great memories from the 2021 New Mexico pronghorn hunting season…
2021 New Mexico Pronghorn Hunting Photos:
Our New Mexico Pronghorn hunts take place on excellent private land with free-range herds of antelope. It’s not easy to draw a pronghorn tag in New Mexico. We do not have the numbers of antelope compared to a place like Wyoming. However, the tags are in such high demand because New Mexico is known for producing some of the best trophy antelope anywhere. If you want lots of antelope and average bucks, Wyoming is excellent. But if you’re interested in a trophy-class pronghorn, then it’s certainly worth exploring the opportunities here in New Mexico! Interested in Pronghorn? Consider an Oryx Hunt!
For folks who are interested in New Mexico pronghorn hunting, we also recommend applying for an oryx hunt. Oryx hunts in New Mexico are an outstanding experience! Similar in style to a spot-and-stalk antelope hunt, oryx hunts come with a few distinct advantages: first, oryx tags are easier to draw. Second, oryx hunts take place all throughout the year, including in the summer, so they won’t overlap with your other hunting plans. Third, oryx provide some of the absolute best wild game meat you’ll ever taste and they are much larger than pronghorn!
